Shofar So Good Service Project
EMT - Firefighter Snack Packs
For our Shofar So Good service project we'll be putting together snack packs for our local EMT and firefighters.
Contributions of individual snack foods like small chip bags or granola bars, and packets of electrolyte water enhancers (for example Liquid IV) are appreciated!
Tashlich
Sunday, September 13
3:00pm-5:00pm Offsite in Leesburg
Join us for Tashlich on Sunday afternoon. We’ve found a wonderful site that offers us a covered space, parking, and most importantly a small creek. We'll toss natural materials into the creek – small rocks, short sticks, leaves – to perform the oldest tradition for Tashlich which is to empty the dust from our pockets to symbolize our fresh start in the New Year.
Shofar So Good
Friday, September 11
5:30pm Main Sanctuary
Join us Friday evening for our annual Shofar So Good Family Service. We'll sing songs, tell stories, and hear the shofar, then close out with apples and honey for a sweet new year!
