Hello JCY Teens and Parents - 

Not sure about anyone else, but I am still smiling a week after spending time together! Thank you to all that participated in our leadership training!

Among other things - we discussed COMMUNICATION as it was evident these emails were going unread. So....drumroll  please. Introducing our NEW Communication Plan:

• Teen Talk will still be sent via email to parents/teens 

• It will also be posted on the CSS Website > Learning > Religious School > JCY (HERE)

• Once posted - a text message will be sent to ALL teens from Morah Mindee. Teens are asked to NOT ENGAGE  with the text but to reach out to Morah Minde directly with any questions. 

• Reminders will be sent to the teens only via Text. We have 2 Text lists set up - 1 for ALL teens and 1 for Madrichim.

It's THIS Sunday - September 7. It's not too late to register to volunteer. Teens will earn 1 point per hour they volunteer. SIGN UP HERE

Volunteer Opportunities

We need teen volunteers for the following! Please reach out to Morah Mindee if you are interested in any or all! 

• Babysitting during Rosh Hashanah Services (9/23)

• Helping prep lunch during Rosh Hashanah Services (9/23) 

• Babysitting during Yom Kippur Services (10/2)

• Helping with the Youth service on Yom Kippur (10/2 from 10am - 11am)

YES - points are awarded for any and all volunteers!
